The Academic Excellence Coordinator will drive educational success by overseeing lesson planning, implementing modern teaching practices, and ensuring high-quality instruction across the school.
Key Responsibilities- Lesson Planning Management
- Review and monitor lesson plans from all teachers to ensure alignment with curriculum standards and best instructional practices.
- Provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement in a timely manner.
- Offer ongoing coaching and mentoring to teachers to enhance lesson planning and instructional delivery.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to reinforce modern teaching methods and strategies.
- Conduct formal and informal classroom evaluations to assess teaching effectiveness.
- Share targeted feedback with teachers to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Prepare regular academic performance reports for leadership.
- Maintain open communication with leadership to address challenges and track progress.
- Ensure consistent implementation of school-approved teaching and learning strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership to inform academic decisions that enhance instructional quality.
- Strong knowledge of modern pedagogical practices and curriculum design.
- Excellent observation, feedback, and coaching skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate teachers with varied levels of openness to change.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities across different school sections.
- Data-driven approach to tracking academic performance.
- Master's degree in Education or related field preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in an instructional leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing teaching and learning improvements at scale.
