We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Bereavement Support Specialist to join our team at HCLTech. As a key member of our bereavement support unit, you will play a critical role in processing cases from initiation through to resolution, ensuring accurate and timely execution of tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills, with a good comprehension of English. Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) is also essential.

A strong background in SME experience, preferably in Banking/Financial services, especially in Bereavement Financial Services, is required. The successful candidate must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues to ensure all customer requests are addressed within service level agreements (SLAs), and maintain detailed records of case progress.

In this role, you will be responsible for validating and amending application details related to deceased accounts, providing feedback to the team on potential improvements in processing quality, and responding to escalations and support emails or phone calls in a professional and empathetic manner.

Additionally, you will assist in training new team members on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance standards and quality measures are maintained in all tasks. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bereavement-related cases from initiation through to resolution
