About the Job

The Senior Production Scientist will be a crucial part of our team responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our services at the Centre and Institute.

Primarily focusing on GMP translation projects and early-stage clinical trials of new ATMPs, with additional responsibilities in daily routine activities within the wider team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work on GMP translation projects and early-stage clinical trials of new ATMPs
  • Contribute to the development of new therapies and products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective production processes

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree-level education with a relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent competence/experience. Additionally, you should have experience with GMP manufacture of tissue and/or cellular therapy/ATMP/biologic products or equivalent within an academic/development setting with a desire to move to a more GMP setting.

Requirements:
  • Educated to degree level with a relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent competence/experience
  • Experience with GMP manufacture of tissue and/or cellular therapy/ATMP/biologic products
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
