We are seeking a Sales and Technical Solutions Expert to join our team based out of our Delhi office. The successful applicant will combine technical expertise with developed sales and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, able to provide innovative solutions to complex problems, and demonstrate ability to reach strategic and business goals.

About the Role

The Sales and Technical Solutions Expert will play a key role in maintaining and growing our customer base in India. The position requires meeting and/or exceeding agreed business targets and personal KPIs through business analysis, process improvement, and effective communication with the General Manager and the wider sales team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Achieve continuous sales growth by providing expertise on ComAp Group products.
  • Regularly visit customers and potential customers in India to maintain regular discussions and negotiations.
  • Maintain a list of important consultants in the region and conduct trainings, visits, and discussions to get ComAp products specified by them.
  • Identify new business opportunities in India and assist the General Manager with setup of sales plans, forecasting, and annual budgeting.
  • Regularly report on key sales activities, opportunities, and progress of projects within our CRM system.
  • Collect market information and support transfer of useful market knowledge to applicable personnel.
  • Provide high-level technical support to customers and training on ComAp Group products as required.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant qualification or experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • A valid passport for occasional overseas travel.
  • Working knowledge and experience in the power generation field, including gensets and electrical switchgears.
  • An understanding of electrical systems and power system design interpretation.
  • Familiarity with technical specifications and commercial conditions in tender documents.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales budgets and targets.
  • Experience using CRM software.
  • A structured approach to sales and good commercial acumen.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
