Theatre Operations Manager Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Theatre Operations Manager to oversee daily activities at our venue. This role is responsible for managing theatre operations, staff supervision, customer service, box office performance, concessions, technical coordination, and adherence to health and safety standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead theatre operations
  • Supervise staff and manage customer relationships
  • Ensure box office success and concession sales growth
  • Coordinate technical aspects of theatre operations
  • Maintain high health and safety standards

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related field is preferred.
  • An MBA or Diploma in Hospitality/Operations Management is an asset.
  • Prior experience working with a cinema chain is mandatory.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer-focused with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with cinema management systems (POS, ticketing, scheduling software).
  • A basic understanding of projection and AV systems is advantageous.
