About the Role

YAL.ai is a communication and discovery platform that uses cutting-edge AI to transform how people connect, interact, and thrive. We're looking for a Motion Graphics Designer / Animator who can bring our story to life through motion and emotion.

Key Responsibilities
  • We need you to conceptualize and craft motion-driven visuals for UI animations, explainers, campaigns, social content, and product videos.
  • You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align storytelling, visual tone, and brand consistency.
  • Developing storyboards, animatics, and style frames will be crucial in visualizing motion concepts before execution.
  • Execute and refine animations using industry-standard tools (e.g., After Effects, Illustrator, Rive), ensuring quality from concept to final render.
  • Staying updated on motion design trends, tools, and techniques will help you continually enrich your visual craftsmanship.
Experience & Qualifications
  • We're looking for someone with an education in Animation, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in motion graphics or related roles – preferably in technology, product, or agency environments.
  • Your portfolio should showcase storytelling through UI, campaign, product, or explainer animations.
Technical Skills
  • You'll need proficiency in software like Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, RIve; bonus if experienced with Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya.
  • A strong understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, anticipation), typography, colour, layout, and motion design best practices is essential.

  • You're a visual storyteller with an eye for detail, pacing, and effective communication through motion.
  • You're self-motivated, organized, and adept at managing multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.
