Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Piping Stress Specialist to join our team.

  • The Piping Stress Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical integrity and safe operation of piping systems by performing detailed static and dynamic analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform comprehensive stress analysis for sustained, thermal expansion, and pressure loads on critical and non-critical piping systems.
  2. Conduct advanced dynamic analyses, including seismic analysis, wind load analysis, slug flow analysis, fluid transient analysis, acoustic-induced vibration checks, and flow-induced vibration checks.
  3. Model and analyze complex systems connected to critical equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, reactors, and pressure vessels.
  4. Specialized analyses include jacketed, buried, and cryogenic piping.
  5. Offshore-specific analysis involves studying accelerations due to wave and wind conditions, structural deflections, transit, and towing conditions.

Requirements:

  • Experience with piping stress analysis software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of ASME B31 series and API standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
