Job Title

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Specialist to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will design, develop and execute performance, load, stress and scalability test plans using Apache JMeter.
  • S/he will write and maintain custom scripts for performance testing scenarios.
  • This role involves analyzing performance test results, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Responsibilities also include testing and monitoring of applications running in Kubernetes clusters.
  • Additionally, the specialist will execute performance testing across cloud platforms.
  • The ideal candidate will implement monitoring tools and dashboards to track system health and performance metrics.
  • S/he must be able to debug and troubleshoot performance issues across distributed systems and microservices.
  • A key aspect of this role is providing detailed performance reports and recommendations for improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, the following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Strong hands-on experience with JMeter for performance/load testing.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Groovy, Python, Shell) for test automation.
  • A working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Proficiency in using monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics).
  • Strong debugging skills to identify and fix performance issues.
  • A good understanding of distributed systems, APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
