Job Opportunity: Performance Testing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished Performance Testing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing performance testing strategies to ensure the optimal performance and scalability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive performance testing plans to identify and mitigate performance issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration of performance testing into the software development lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks, scripts, and tools to support efficient testing and analysis
  • Analyze test results, provide actionable insights, and work with developers to implement optimizations and improvements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • At least 3 years of experience in performance engineering or related field with high-traffic, large-scale distributed systems, client-server architectures
  • Experience with load testing tools like HP LoadRunner, JMeter, and Hammer
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, design, capacity planning, and application performance best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in software application development or test automation
  • Familiarity with cloud DevOps (Kubernetes) and containerization
  • Understanding of performance analysis and testing processes
