Job Title: High-Performance Testing Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned performance test engineer to engage in and improve the entire lifecycle of services - from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support services before they go live through system design consulting, capacity planning, risk assessments, and launch reviews.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Run continuous improvement activities that enhance service availability, recovery, efficiency, and performance.
  • Work with the team to implement highly available and scalable architectures for core and third-party components of the service.
  • Implement metrics, monitoring, and incident response processes.
  • Align and improve change management and capacity planning processes.
  • Monitor manual effort levels and drive improvement through automation and stability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years' experience in software development or performance testing and engineering with systems analysis, including agile practices.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like APPD, Grafana, Splunk, etc.
  • End-to-end performance testing using LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD, WebLogic, Oracle Databases, cloud-native services.
  • Desired skills: Gatling, AWS Cloud, Harness, K6.

The ideal candidate will be aware of production degradation of service level objectives, identify specific system information needed for incident response/post-mortems, and deliver root cause analysis.
