TechOps Support Specialist

The Nielsen Company is a market leader in content ratings across various viewing platforms, including local and national TV, streaming, digital advertising, and more. We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical TechOps Support Specialist to join our Platform & Core Services team.
About the Role
This role involves working cross-functionally to solve client technology problems, managing assigned client workload, and collaborating with teammates to satisfy client technology requests and respond to client technology inquiries. The successful candidate will have multiple years of experience in a customer service-oriented role in Operations, Technology, or Engineering, with a strong interest in data analysis and ability to query data using SQL.
Main Responsibilities:
• Support daily, monthly, and quarterly deliverables for clients
• Become an expert in using our Platform tools to better understand multiple client needs
• Identify data discrepancies and trend breaks within our deliverables before clients see them
• Manage assigned client workload and work with teammates to satisfy client technology requests and respond to client technology inquiries
• Help organize competing deliveries
• Work across Product, Operations, Technology, and Client Services teams to meet client and platform objectives
• Identify and communicate systems and process enhancements and defect fixes
• Ensure issues are identified in a timely and appropriate manner
• Suggest and implement best practices
• Document processes and procedures
Requirements:
• Multiple years of experience in a customer service-oriented role in Operations, Technology, or Engineering
• Experience and interest in data analysis (preferably with the ability to query data using SQL)
• Ability to prioritize, manage, and deliver on multiple work streams simultaneously; highly motivated and able to work within aggressive schedules
• Ability to analyze and evaluate problems, offer solutions, and determine when more help is required or when escalation is necessary
• Superior communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation, written, email)
• Action-oriented, flexible, resourceful, and able to operate effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Time management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
• Positive attitude, team player, self-starter; takes initiative, ability to work independently
Salary Information:
We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
