Key Infrastructure Manager Role

We seek a Key Infrastructure Manager to oversee the optimization of our Splunk infrastructure for efficient deployment and maintenance across various platforms.

  • Configure, maintain and deploy Indexer, Search Head, Deployment Server, Heavy Forwarder and Universal forwarder on UNIX and Windows platforms to ensure seamless operations.

  • Troubleshoot Splunk server and Forwarder issues to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Expertise in parsing, indexing, searching concepts including Hot, Warm, Cold, Frozen bucketing is essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in using regex commands to extract fields from log files is necessary for data analysis.
  • Experience with Actuate Reporting, Development, Deployment, Management and Performance Tuning of Actuate Reports is desirable.
  • Monitor and optimize Splunk infrastructure for capacity planning and support Splunk on Linux and Windows-based platforms to ensure scalability.

Requirements:

  • Certifications: Splunk Certified Power User and Splunk Certified Admin are required.
  • Proficiency in Python and ability to create and run customized scripts is essential for automation.
  • Experience in data analytics and exposure to MongoDb/Docker services is beneficial for innovation.
