The Lead IT Infrastructure Specialist will oversee the design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure. This includes ensuring continuous and secure flow of data between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems, implementing advanced wireless technologies like Wi-Fi 6 and private 5G for robust connectivity, automation, and real-time data monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage large-scale production network deployments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions.
  • Implement network security practices and protocols, including VPN, intrusion detection, and VLAN management.
  • Manage both wired and wireless network infrastructure, with experience in optimizing systems for large-scale industrial use.
  • Troubleshoot network issues and implement solutions in a time-sensitive production environment.
  • Manage vendor relationships and drive continuous improvements in network performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in managing production floor network infrastructure in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade network equipment and network monitoring tools.
  • Proven experience in leading network architecture projects and managing security protocols.
