Job Opportunity for Infrastructure Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced infrastructure professional to lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, cloud, networking, and storage technologies. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, communication skills, and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve performance and reduce costs
  • Lead infrastructure projects across networking, servers, storage, and cloud
  • Serve as the SME for Windows/Linux environments, virtualization, and backup/recovery systems
  • Provide mentorship to infrastructure engineers and support teams
  • Ensure high availability of core infrastructure services including compute, storage, and network
  • Define and enforce configuration standards, patching cycles, and disaster recovery strategies
  • Oversee incident and problem resolution for infrastructure issues
  • Collaborate with application, security, and network teams on integrated solutions
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, regulatory standards, and audit controls
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute infrastructure upgrades and migration initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • 10-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including 2-3 years in technical leadership role
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analysis skills
  • Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong documentation and process adherence
  • Strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, cloud, networking, and storage technologies
