Server Infrastructure Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Server Engineer with strong Azure experience to join our Infrastructure team. This individual will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our on-premise and cloud-based server environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting Windows Server environments, configuring and managing services in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, etc.), and managing server patching, performance tuning, and routine maintenance tasks.

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Configure and manage services in Microsoft Azure to meet business requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as server patching and performance tuning.
  • Implement and support backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup, ASR, or other tools.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, change management, and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with security and network teams to maintain compliance and security standards.
  • Support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
  • Provide L3/L4 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.
  • Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migration projects.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

* 5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure support.

* Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.

* Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and related services.

* Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.

* Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).

* Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
