Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, resolve IT infrastructure issues, and implement new technologies.

About the Role:

This is a remote role, allowing you to work from home. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical documentation and support out-of-hours work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS Technologies, ECS, and EKS.
  • Implement and troubleshoot cloud security activities in accordance with ITSM/ITIL methodologies.
  • Create high-quality technical documentation and support out-of-hours work as needed.
  • On-board new cloud technologies and challenge existing implementations in a professional manner.
  • Engage in cloud security activities and maintain knowledge of cloud security tools like Checkpoint, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and AWS Detective.
Requirements:
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in AWS Cloud or a related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer), or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, build tools, containers, cloud technologies, automation/scripting languages, databases, and others.
Preferred Certifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA)
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer or related Linux certifications
  • Relevant cloud security certificates
