Quality Assurance Specialist

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee the quality control process in our Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) fabrication and erection operations. This individual will ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures as per drawings and specifications to guarantee quality standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks for welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes to maintain structural integrity and safety.
  • Carry out dimensional inspections of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies to verify accuracy and precision.
  • Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards to prevent defects and ensure durability.
  • Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability of materials to facilitate continuous improvement and audit readiness.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Diploma/B.E./B.Tech).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in quality control in PEB/Steel Structure fabrication industry.

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of fabrication and erection processes for PEB structures.
  • Sound understanding of welding processes (SMAW, SAW, MIG, etc.).
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
