Senior Financial Controller

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure 100% accurate revenue recognition.
  • Analyse business risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee timely recoveries of outstanding balances.

Key Accountabilities:

Dealer Interface Role
  • Manage billing processes for agencies.
  • Resolve disputes with agencies and customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer code documentation.
Controllership Role
  • Coordinate value addition orders/invoices related to sponsorships.
  • Reconcile dealer and finance ledger balances.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
Banking Operations
  • Manage bank interfaces for clearing and collection.
Performance Metrics and Reporting
  • Prepare month-end reports on revenue and collections.
  • Calculate incentives for classified, display, and canvasser staff.
  • Ensure month-end closing checklist adherence.
  • Implement process control and cost control measures.
Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure GST and TDS compliance.
Commercial and Cost Control
  • Review debtors, provision for expenses, cost ledger, and vendor payments.
  • Assess legal contracts and barter arrangements.
  • Participate in budgeting exercises.
  • Develop document management systems.
IT Systems and Tools
  • Maintain customer databases.
  • Work with SAP software.
  • Utilize Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education Qualification:

Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant with 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in accounting within the service industry.
