Job Title: Senior Director of Financial Operations

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Financial Operations to lead our financial strategy, planning, and reporting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with expertise in regulatory reporting, internal controls, and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgets that align with the company's overall strategy.
  2. Regulatory Reporting: Manage and oversee regulatory reporting requirements across jurisdictions, including VASP, FIU, central bank, and tax authorities.
  3. Internal Controls and Compliance: Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls and accounting policies that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote operational efficiency.
  4. Audit and Risk Management: Lead periodic audits—statutory, internal, regulatory—and identify areas for improvement to mitigate risks and optimize financial performance.
  5. Treasury Operations: Oversee treasury operations, including liquidity management, crypto wallet oversight, exchange accounts, and banking relationships.
  6. Financial Insights and Decision-Making: Provide strategic financial insights to the leadership team and board to support informed decision-making.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management, with a focus on regulatory reporting, internal controls, and audit processes.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Languages: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with knowledge of financial software and systems.
