Role Overview:

  • As Financial Operations Lead, you will be responsible for leading our financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up. You'll ensure we have the necessary resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from Day 1.
  • You will develop and manage financial models, including unit economics, CAC/LTV, and marketplace liquidity.
  • You will lead our fundraising efforts, prepare investor materials, and manage financial modelling and investor relations.
  • You will design and implement robust financial systems, including accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, and CAC/LTV analysis.
  • You will oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • You will design and execute our marketplace operations playbook.
  • You will develop operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
  • You will balance marketplace liquidity by ensuring enough hosts and events to meet attendee demand.
  • You will build trust and safety operations, including dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • You will oversee legal and compliance frameworks, including contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, and MCA compliance.
  • You will forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
  • You will develop KPI dashboards for event volume, ticket sales, host retention, and repeat attendance.
  • You will hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is a big plus.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • A strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution.
  • A passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
