Job Title:

A high-level financial professional sought to oversee the organization's accounting and finance functions.

About the Role:

This experienced Accounts and Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing daily financial operations, and coordinating external audits.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare year-end financial statements in adherence to established guidelines and regulations.
  • Handle GST-related matters, including responding to notices and ensuring timely compliance.
  • Coordinate foreign Letters of Credit (LCs), understanding import/export regulations set by RBI and other financial institutions.
  • Liaise with banks for credit renewals, limit extensions, and maintain strong banking relationships.
  • Collaborate with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
  • Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations for business growth.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant financial laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • CMA or CA certification
  • 5-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the infrastructure sector.
  • Proven expertise in handling GST compliance and responding to notices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing foreign LCs and staying updated on RBI and import/export regulations.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with banks and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
