Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to lead our finance team. The ideal candidate will be a master of financial operations within a private limited manufacturing setup.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will manage and oversee all daily financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory accounting. They will serve as the company's subject matter expert on all GST-related matters, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), handle reconciliations, and manage any GST audits or departmental queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all daily financial operations, including Billing, A/R, A/P, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting.
  • Serve as the company's subject matter expert on all GST-related matters, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.), handle reconciliations, and manage any GST audits or departmental queries.
  • Take ownership of the finance module in SAP Business One, utilizing advanced SQL skills to develop custom financial reports, create complex queries, and work directly with the SAP backend to extract and analyze data.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, preparing and presenting accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory regulations, including TDS, TCS, Provident Fund, ESI, and other requirements under the Companies Act.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for statutory and internal auditors, developing and maintaining robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, specifically within a private limited manufacturing company in India.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance, a professional certification (CA / CMA) is highly preferred.
  • Expert-level, hands-on proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1), strong proficiency in SQL is mandatory for developing reports and working on the SAP backend.
  • Deep, practical expertise in Indian GST laws, including all aspects of filings, compliance, and reconciliations, comprehensive knowledge of Ind AS, corporate law, and direct/indirect taxation.
