Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our Accounts Payable team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, preparing and processing accounts payable checks, wire transfers, and payments.

You will also respond to vendor inquiries, reconcile complex vendor statements, prepare analysis of accounts, resolve discrepancies, and conduct root cause analysis of accounts payable processing errors. Additionally, you will suggest process improvements, support month-end closing, and participate in projects related to Accounts Payable improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoice administration and setup for payment
• Prepare and process accounts payable checks, wire transfers, and payments
• Respond to all vendor inquiries and reconcile complex vendor statements
• Prepare analysis of accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Conduct root cause analysis of accounts payable processing errors and suggest process improvements
• Support month-end closing
• Participate in projects related to Accounts Payable improvement

• Financial Internal Controls: Leverages internal control framework by assessing internal controls and developing remediation plans to mitigate financial reporting risks and respond to changing business needs

Additional Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of end-to-end accounts payable processes
• Knowledge of Invoice processing, GRNI Analysis, AP reporting, and financial analysis techniques
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• End-to-End Accounts Payable knowledge required, with a focus on end resolutions
• Ability to provide analytical support and must be proficient in coordinating and following up with multiple stakeholders in order to resolve AP issues proactively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve complex AP issues
• Good in Oral and Written communication
• Knowledge of Oracle will be an added advantage
