The Role of an Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description:This is a key role in managing the organization's financial obligations, ensuring seamless cash flow and compliance with regulatory requirements.
A degree in Finance or related field along with 2-7 years of experience in Accounts Payable is essential for this position. Proficiency in MS Excel and prior experience in US Accounts Shared Services are highly desirable.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- End-to-end management of accounts payable operations, including purchase order processing, invoice verification, and vendor liaison
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and company policies
- Operational excellence through process improvements and efficient use of ERP systems (SAP FI / Oracle Cockpit Financial Accounting)
- Month-end closure, audit support, and quality assurance
- Monitoring of AP invoicing tools, key performance indicators, and reconciliations
Key Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
