Job Title: Data Management Leader

This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking data management team as a senior leader.

The role involves overseeing the development of critical data products, applications and analytics for balance sheet management within a complex organisation. You will bring the experience of leading large programmes of work to deliver world-class data products with a strong engineering mindset and ability to operate in a dynamic environment.

You'll lead and develop multiple teams, fostering a high-performance culture with strong technical and business expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of next-generation data products & applications to support balance sheet management.
  • Act as a key liaison between Finance, Treasury, Data Teams to ensure a cohesive approach to data and analytics.
  • Work closely with Customer Data Programme to ensure strategic adoption of customer and organisation reference data.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture and technology teams to define data models, integration patterns and system enhancements.
  • Lead the adoption of cloud and modern data engineering practices to streamline data processing and improve analytical capabilities.
  • Ensure data lineage, metadata management and data quality processes are embedded within operational workflows.
  • Drive innovation in balance sheet analytics, leveraging advanced analytics techniques to enhance insights.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in leading data and analytics teams with expertise in data engineering, architecture and governance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of data platforms, cloud infrastructure and analytics tools.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives in a complex environment.
  • Experience working with large-scale finance data and implementing enterprise-wide data solutions.
