Chief Talent Acquisition Officer
We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our campus recruitment initiatives, foster strong industry partnerships, and empower students for successful careers.
About the Role:
A collaborative and dynamic individual with a proven track record of driving talent acquisition strategies, building robust corporate relationships, and enhancing student employability is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to motivate and guide students towards career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Sourcing & Placement Drives:
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with leading corporations and industry associations.
- Identify and invite top companies for campus placement drives across management, engineering, and other programs.
- Negotiate innovative recruitment terms and ensure high placement conversion rates.
- Student Skill Development:
- Develop and execute pre-placement training programs including aptitude, group discussion, technical skills, and interview preparation.
- Collaborate with faculty and industry experts to bridge skill gaps and enhance student readiness.
- Track and mentor students' progress towards placement success.
- Placement Operations:
- Design and implement annual placement calendars.
- Coordinate logistics for placement drives, interviews, and tests.
- Maintain accurate placement records, statistics, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Industry Engagement & Networking:
- Organize industry visits, guest lectures, and career counseling sessions.
- Explore internship, live project, and corporate training opportunities for students.
- Represent the institution at job fairs, industry meets, and HR summits.
- Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare detailed reports for management on placement status, recruiter feedback, and student performance.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and data confidentiality.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in talent acquisition, corporate HR, or recruitment, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong industry network and proven record of successful campus placements.
