Job Overview

As a Server Administration Consultant Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to incident response activities, participating in investigations and reporting.
  • Automate repetitive tasks, implementing and maintaining highly available, scalable, and self-healing systems.
  • Participate in the planning, development, design, testing, migration, and implementation of Application products and upgrades of existing solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient with sftp, scp, and Sterling/Connect:Direct trace utilities to identify file transfer issues.
  • Managed File Transfer (MFT) and UNIX administration expertise.
  • Strong OS Troubleshooting, Performance Counters, Disk Administration skills.
  • Experience with Windows Clustering / VCS Clustering.
  • Scripting know-how in Shell and Python.
  • Knowledge of Connect Direct CDP / Scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Technologies - GCP/AWS/Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Splunk.
  • Hardware Administration - HP/IBM/Dell/Lenovo.
  • Experience in IBM Sterling Connect Direct Platform (Unix and Windows servers).
  • In-depth Knowledge on SFTP Administration Platform (Unix and Windows servers).
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Netbackup, Antivirus agent.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like Digs, Ansible, Puppet, Git, CI/CD Pipelines.

Requirements:

  • 10-12 years of experience in Windows / VMware / Unix / Linux Server Administration.
  • Microsoft certified, RHEL Certified,Cloud Technology Certified.
