Job Title

A senior leader with extensive experience in managing IT applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of enterprise applications, from deployment to integration and performance optimization.
  • Availability & Reliability: Ensure high availability and reliability of all academic and administrative applications.
  • Issue Resolution: Manage issue resolution, incident management, and root cause analysis for application-related problems.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partnerships: Partner with academic leaders and administrative heads to understand requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.
  • Liaison: Act as the primary liaison with application vendors and service providers.
  • User Adoption: Lead user adoption initiatives, including training and support.

Strategic Planning & Governance:

  • Application Roadmap: Define and execute the application roadmap in alignment with institutional digital transformation goals.
  • Governance Standards: Establish governance standards, documentation, and compliance with IT policies.
  • Innovation: Recommend and implement innovative technology solutions to enhance teaching, learning, and operations.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management:

  • Leadership: Lead and mentor the application support team at campus level.
  • Vendor Relationships: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts/SLAs, and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Culture: Promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Integration & Data Management:

  • Data Integration: Drive seamless integration of CRM, SIS, LMS, ERP, HRMS, and other systems.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and higher education regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 15 years of progressive experience in IT application management, ideally in higher education or large enterprise environments.
  • Expertise: Expertise in managing Salesforce CRM, ERP (Finance & HR), SIS, LMS, Library Management, and related systems.
  • Skillset: Strong experience in application integration, vendor management, and IT governance.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation best practices.
