AI Engineer Job Description

Our company is seeking a skilled AI engineer to configure and manage data privacy controls, deliver comprehensive audit logs and compliance reporting, implement robust guardrails and moderation tools, and troubleshoot technical issues related to API calls and integration failures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI applications engineering and experience working with OpenAI tools. They should be able to maintain a detailed internal admin guide, develop and maintain knowledge bases and wikis, and deliver training sessions for IT staff to expand their expertise in managing OpenAI tools.

We require the successful applicant to have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.

  • Configure Data Privacy Controls: Prevent sensitive data from being used in AI model training by implementing effective data protection measures.
  • Deliver Audit Logs and Compliance Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards by providing comprehensive audit logs and compliance reporting.
  • Implement Guardrails and Moderation Tools: Enhance the security and reliability of AI applications by implementing robust guardrails and moderation tools.
  • Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Resolve technical issues related to API calls, latency, and integration failures to ensure seamless application performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Proficiency in AI Tools: Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly OpenAI.
  • Data Privacy Controls: Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
