Job Summary:

Design and implement instrumentation systems for industrial processes, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

">

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Develop design deliverables including Design Basis, Instrumentation & Control system specifications">
  • Create instrument index and I/O lists, functional loop schematics, and logic diagrams">
  • Design installation drawings and hookups, instrument location layouts, cable tray layouts, control room layouts, cable and junction box schedules">
  • Produce wiring and interconnection drawings, loop wiring diagrams, MTOs, construction/erection tenders, and CAPEX support">
  • Participate in interdisciplinary activities such as P&ID reviews and updates, 3D model reviews, IDR/IDC, and equipment layouts">
  • Conduct hands-on experience in instrument sizing, control valve sizing, flow meter sizing, safety valve sizing, and air and power consumption calculations">
  • Familiarize yourself with relevant codes and standards applicable to FMCG plants and NEC standards">
  • Understand wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specification">
  • Select instruments for hazardous areas and ensure proper selection of all types of field instruments"]">

Requirements:

Experience in preparation of design deliverables; Design Basis, Instrumentation & Control system specifications, Instrument Index and I/O List, Functional loop schematics, and Logic Diagrams, Inst. Datasheets, Installation drawings and Hook's, Inst. Location Lay outs, Cable Tray lay outs, Control room lay outs, Cable and Junction Box Schedule, Wiring and Interconnection drawings, Loop Wiring Diagram, MTO, Construction/Erection Tender, CAPEX support etc.

Interdisciplinary Activities . P&ID review and update, 3D Model review, IDR/IDC, Cable tray layouts, Equipment layouts, Instrumentation Layout

Hands on Experience in the following design Calculations; Inst. Sizing . Control Valve Sizing (InstruCalc, CONVAL), Flow meter sizing, Safety valve sizing, Air and power consumption calculations, Thermowell Wake freq. calculations, UPS Sizing, Transformer sizing, Cable tray sizing, cable sizing.

Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to FMCG Plants and NEC standards.

Should have knowledge of wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA hardware specification

Instrument Selection All types of field instruments. Exposure to selection of instruments and systems for Hazardous areas.
