Genomics Researcher - Oligonucleotide Synthesis Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Genomics Researcher to join our team as an Oligonucleotide Synthesis Specialist.

This role involves driving precision-driven solutions in genomics and beyond, utilizing expertise in oligo synthesis and analysis.

Key responsibilities include running and troubleshooting automated solid-phase synthesis, scaling synthesis to mmol level, purifying and characterizing oligos, maintaining lab instrumentation and inventory, and driving cross-functional method development and QC initiatives.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Run and troubleshoot automated solid-phase synthesis (detritylation–oxidation cycles).
  • Scale synthesis to mmol level (coupling efficiency >99%).
  • Purify (HPLC, PAGE, CE) and characterize (LC-MS, UV-Vis, MS) oligos.
  • Maintain lab instrumentation, inventory, safety, and SOPs.
  • Drive cross-functional method development and QC initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will require a Ph.D. + 2–5 yrs in oligo synthesis and analysis, with a strong foundation in phosphoramidite chemistry, purification, analytics.

  • Requirements:
  • Ph.D. + 2–5 yrs in oligo synthesis and analysis.
  • Strong foundation in phosphoramidite chemistry, purification, analytics.
  • Bonus: experience with modified or therapeutic oligos, digital PCR/BEAMing.
