Senior Backend Developer Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Backend Developer Lead to oversee our backend architecture, drive technical excellence, and lead the development of full-stack applications.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an expert in modern PHP frameworks to take charge of leading a team of engineers, architecting scalable solutions, and delivering high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead backend development using Laravel and other modern PHP frameworks
  • Architect secure, maintainable, and scalable systems
  • Oversee system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services
  • Manage projects involving Magento, WordPress, Shopify, and related stacks
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and implement best practices
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in backend development with deep expertise in PHP and Laravel
  • Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks
  • Proficiency in PHP, Java, MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills
