Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and scale the core backend infrastructure that powers the AI customer service agents
  • Write highly scalable, production-ready Python code (Django experience a significant advantage)
  • Architect backend services and infrastructure for massive enterprise-grade scale
  • Deploy and manage systems on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP with a focus on speed and reliability
  • Collaborate closely with founders and the founding engineer to influence architecture and direction
  • Take high ownership: drive projects from conception to deployment in a startup environment
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience with deep expertise in Python programming (Django a plus)
  • Strong cloud skills (AWS or GCP), with familiarity in containerization technologies like Kubernetes/Docker
  • Proven track record of building and scaling infrastructure in production environments
  • Prior experience working in high-velocity, high-ownership teams (startups, top-tier tech firms, or quant organizations)
  • CS degree or equivalent professional foundation
  • Bonus: experience in high-growth teams with a strong focus on innovation and scalability
