Backend Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for agent orchestration, session tracking, and feedback ingestion.

The successful candidate will have experience with API development, WebSockets, and microservices patterns, as well as familiarity with DynamoDB, Redis, and message buses like Kafka/EventBridge.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have exposure to observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, tracing, metrics) and bonus points for experience working on LLM-based or event-driven systems.

  • Design and Implement Backend Services: Develop and maintain backend services that enable seamless agent orchestration, session tracking, and feedback ingestion.
  • Build APIs and Microservices: Construct APIs and microservices that support real-time and batch workflows, ensuring high-performance and scalability.
  • Integrate Observability Tooling: Integrate observability tooling to enable fine-grained monitoring of agent behavior, providing actionable insights for optimization.
  • Collaborate with AI Team: Work closely with the AI team to structure data pipelines and interaction logs, ensuring seamless data flow and analysis.
