Design Systems Internship

We're seeking a talented and motivated individual to assist in the development of our design systems. As a Design Systems Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with senior designers to craft consistent and intuitive interfaces for our learning products.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining our design system by updating Figma components, tokens, and documentation.
  • Support the production of UI elements by creating layout variations, states, and lightweight prototypes under senior direction.
  • Participate in user testing by observing usability sessions and assisting in synthesizing findings for design iterations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and content teams, through regular stand-ups and design critiques.
  • Apply accessibility standards by learning WCAG principles and implementing them in interface tweaks and redlines.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing (or recently completed) a degree or certification in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with visual hierarchy, typography, color, and responsive design principles.
  • Foundational knowledge of design tools, such as Figma or similar software.
  • Strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and iterate quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote environment.
