Principal SRE

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer to join the Cortex Production group. In this role, you will work side by side with the Cortex Cyber Security Research Group to build, operate, and scale the production environment for our SaaS platform.

Our ideal candidate will have full end-to-end ownership of SaaS production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency. This includes working with large-scale Kubernetes clusters, developing Infrastructure-as-Code, leading incident management, building automation tools, and collaborating with development teams.

As a key member of our team, you will continuously research and deploy AI/ML technologies to drive innovation and operational excellence. Your focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment will be essential in achieving our goals.

Requirements:
  • Take full end-to-end ownership of SaaS production environments deployed on GCP.
  • Work with large-scale Kubernetes clusters.
  • Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and HashiCorp tools.
  • Lead incident management including planning and executing high-pressure production maintenance tasks.
  • Build automation and self-healing tools for proactive remediation of known issues.
  • Secure production environments by integrating best-in-class security tools and practices.
  • Collaborate with development and research teams to enhance architecture and improve service reliability.
