Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a reliability engineer.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and experience working with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and containerization technologies.

  • Design, build, and maintain resilient systems that meet the demands of our fast-paced trading environment.
  • Ensure trading platforms, order management systems, and critical infrastructure are reliable and available.
  • Optimize system performance for low-latency trading and fast order execution.
  • Develop monitoring solutions to detect anomalies, performance degradation, and system failures.
  • Manage deployment pipelines and release processes for trading systems, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure continuous availability of trading services.
  2. Implement disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or disasters.
  3. Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
  4. Maintain documentation of system architecture, processes, and best practices.
  5. Share knowledge and collaborate with other teams to improve overall system reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ Years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Qualifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
