Role Overview

The Sales Head will spearhead the development and execution of strategic sales plans to propel company growth objectives. To excel in this role, a seasoned leader with a proven track record in the manufacturing industry, particularly in battery technology, and strong experience in driving sales and managing high-performing teams is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute B2B sales strategies in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and professional growth.
  • Sales Development: Oversee the development and implementation of sales plans and initiatives to drive revenue growth.
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Identify and target new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Revenue and Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
  • Negotiation and Contracts: Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with key clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics & communication
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Extensive experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing sales teams
  • Experience in a leadership role with responsibilities for developing and executing sales strategies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans
