Job Description

Production managers play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations within the production function. Key responsibilities include creating and implementing effective scheduling strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and maintaining accurate records through Management Information Systems (MIS).

Optimizing productivity is crucial, and this involves analyzing data to identify areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions accordingly.

Effective leadership skills are essential in guiding teams towards achieving set objectives, including preparing process parameters and documents, allocating manpower, and promoting quality control measures such as Total Quality System (TS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).

Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, maintaining a 5S environment, and conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment are also critical aspects of this role.

Collaborative problem-solving and decision-making abilities are necessary for addressing complex issues that may arise during production. Additionally, proficiency in running injection molding machines and handling various types of plastic materials is vital. The ability to analyze customer complaints, implement corrective actions, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement are equally important.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Individuals seeking this position should possess a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a production setting, preferably within the engineering industry, is required.

Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in technical knowledge of molding processes and materials is also necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to make informed decisions, are critical in addressing complex production-related issues.

Around 12~15 years of experience in production function of Engineering Industry

Knowledge of APQP related documentation and PPAP, FMEA and Control Plan .

Knowledge of SAP.

Knowledge of DOE for the Molding Process.

Knowledge of molding machine Specifications and selection for the required product.
