About the Role

The Business Finance Team Lead will identify, develop, and manage relationships with key partners to drive growth of finance solutions.

This role requires a mix of business development, partner management, and financial expertise to structure and deliver innovative solutions to clients, focusing on improving clients' liquidity through efficient finance options.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or financial services, with a focus on finance solutions.
  • A proven track record in managing partnerships within the financial services or industry.
  • A strong understanding of finance products such as cash credit, overdraft, bank guarantees (BGs), letters of credit (LCs), supply chain financing, invoice factoring, and trade credit.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying potential partners to enhance the finance ecosystem.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with partners.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to acquire new partners.
  • Fostering and growing relationships with existing partners in the finance space.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to understand client needs and develop tailored finance solutions.
  • Conducting market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Working with internal and external teams to structure finance solutions.
  • Leading negotiations with partners and clients.
  • Providing training and support to partners on finance products.
  • Tracking partner performance and monitoring KPIs.
  • Collaborating with legal teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Staying informed about changes in financial regulations and market dynamics.
  • Monitoring industry developments and best practices.
