Job Title:
Business Finance Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Finance Specialist to join our investment team. The role will focus on supporting strategic financial decisions and monitoring investments in startups and private companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry deep-dives on emerging markets and privately held US companies.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions.
- Prepare comprehensive investment reports, pitch decks, and monitoring dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Track portfolio company performance, KPIs, and prepare actionable insights.
- Assist with due diligence (financial, operational, and market).
- Collaborate closely with the investment team in the US, aligning with their time zone.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA / CFA preferred but not mandatory).
- 2–5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
- Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setting.
- Willingness to work in US time zone (EST/PST overlap).
