 Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify calculations and check or allocate codes to ensure compliance with all aspects of accounting and fiscal policies;
  • Review and process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures;
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of electronic payments, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers;
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and account reconciliations;
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner;
  • Accurately input data into the accounting system, maintaining proper records and documentation;
  • Generate reports as needed to support management decision-making and financial analysis;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in initiatives to streamline financial operations procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial operations or a related field;
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel;
  • Knowledge of accounting software and systems is an asset.
