Key Role: Procurement Strategist

Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead procurement efforts across the organization to support real estate and retail operations.

Responsibilities include developing strategic procurement plans, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop strategic procurement plans aligned with business objectives.
  2. Lead end-to-end procurement process including vendor identification, selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance management.
  3. Establish procurement policies, processes, and systems to ensure efficient sourcing.
  4. Build strong vendor relationships to secure consistent supply, quality, and competitive pricing.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
  6. Monitor procurement budgets and analyze cost-saving opportunities.
  7. Develop long-term sourcing strategies for key categories.
  8. Manage procurement risks by evaluating suppliers' financial health, delivery performance, and quality benchmarks.
  9. Implement technology-driven procurement solutions to improve efficiency.
  10. Ensure legal compliance in all supplier contracts.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field. MBA/PGDM preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years of procurement experience in real estate industry only.
  • Proven track record of handling procurement for large-scale projects or high-volume retail operations.
  • Strong experience in vendor negotiations, cost control, strategic sourcing, and contract management.
