Job Title: Strategic Bidding Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of tenders for oil and gas, energy sectors involves identifying opportunities and developing strategies to secure new business.
  • End-to-end bid management/tendering for government clients/public sector undertakings (PSUs) includes technical write-ups and cost estimations, subcontracting, joint ventures, consortiums, client liaisoning, and project management.
  • Relevant tenders from PSUs, government agencies, and private companies are sourced through various resources, including industry reports and online platforms.
  • Bidding processes at government/GEM portals require careful planning and execution to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Preparing pre-qualification documents, expression of interest (EOI), bids, and attending pre-bid meetings are essential steps in the bidding process.
  • Maintaining excellent professional relations with clients and coordinating with central functions for bid compliance is crucial for achieving order booking targets.
  • Coordination with execution teams and maintaining relationships with external parties ensures smooth bidding operations.
  • Liaisoning and day-to-day correspondence along with legal contractual correspondences with customers are critical aspects of the job.
  • Generating relevant management information system (MIS) reports and tender tracking updates helps in monitoring progress and making informed decisions.
  • Achieving order booking targets from tenders requires a strategic approach and effective bid management.
  • Maintaining documentation and correspondence of business development activities and updating credentials on a regular basis ensures that all necessary information is up-to-date.
  • Business sales forecasting involves analyzing market trends and predicting future sales performance.
  • Ensuring new empanelment and renewal of existing empanelments with PSUs and other agencies is an ongoing process that requires continuous effort.
