Job Title: Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Specialist.

About the Role:

The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Accounts team with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, financial statement preparation, and accounts closing processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting and finance skills, particularly in Financial Statements and Journal Entries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Entry: Perform accurate and timely data entry tasks, including Sales, Purchases, Petty Cash, Receipts & Payments.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare monthly financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement) in accordance with IFRS and ISA standards.
  • Accounts Closing Processes: Contribute to the accounts closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Required Qualifications:

  • Accounting and Finance Skills: Strong accounting and finance skills, particularly in Financial Statements and Journal Entries.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and finance expertise.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Tally software.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional Certification: Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
