Lease Accounting Specialist

Lease Accounting Associate Role
About the Position- Maintain and update lease accounting schedules in compliance with ASC 842 regulations.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to lease liabilities and right-of-use assets.
- Assist with monthly close process and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Real Estate, Legal, and Accounts Payable teams to facilitate timely updates and maintain data integrity.
- Monitor critical lease dates and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience working with large datasets. Familiarity with lease accounting software such as Yardi, CoStar, or Lucernex is highly desirable.
Key Qualifications- Strong understanding of ASC 842 regulations and lease accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with ability to work with large datasets.
- Experience with lease accounting software, preferably Yardi, CoStar, or Lucernex.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
