Technical Services Coil Coating Line Engineer

As a Technical Services Coil Coating Line Engineer, you will be stationed at the customer's coil coating facility and serve as the primary technical point of contact. Your role involves daily monitoring of the coating line, managing paint inventory, resolving technical issues, and ensuring smooth operations through proactive service activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coil Coating Line Monitoring: Supervise daily operations of the coil coating line to ensure optimal performance. Track process parameters and identify deviations or inefficiencies.
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Address and resolve technical concerns raised by the customer related to coating defects, line stoppages, or quality inconsistencies. Provide on-the-spot troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior technical teams when needed.
  • Paint Stock Management: Monitor paint consumption and maintain accurate inventory records. Coordinate timely replenishment of paint stock and ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Daily Technical Service Activities: Conduct routine checks on equipment, coating quality, and process stability. Prepare daily service reports and share insights with internal teams for continuous improvement.
  • Process Documentation: Maintain logs of technical interventions, line performance metrics, and customer feedback. Support audits and quality reviews with relevant documentation.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Work Experience: 3–8 years of experience in coil coating or industrial paint application process.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of coating line operations and paint chemistry. Proficiency in MS Office and basic data analysis tools.
