Senior Backend Software Engineer

You will play a critical role in designing and building scalable systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Owning end-to-end development of key features or services across the backend.
  • Collaborating with architects and leads to design reliable, maintainable systems.
  • Writing clean, modular code following best practices.
  • Ensuring seamless integration between backend services and front-end applications.
Mentorship & Leadership
  • Guiding junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews.
  • Championing engineering best practices such as peer reviews.
  • Helping define workflows that align with quality expectations.
Innovation & Tooling
  • Leveraging Large Language Models for streamlined workflows.
  • Exploring new frameworks and tooling to improve productivity.
Quality & Performance
  • Working closely with QA teams for high performance and availability.
  • Building automated test suites for functional testing.
  • Monitoring production systems and proactively addressing bottlenecks.
Cross-Team Collaboration
  • Partnering with Product Managers and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.

Skills and Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

  • 6+ years of experience in software development with strong backend skills.
  • Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience working in DevOps-centric environments.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks.
