Backend Developer Job Description
We're looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. This is a senior position, and the ideal candidate will have experience with backend architecture and development using Node.js.

The main responsibilities of this role include designing, building, and optimizing APIs, microservices, and integrations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for working with MongoDB for data modeling, schema design, performance tuning, and collaborating with front-end developers to define interfaces, data contracts, and integrate front-backend. Additionally, the candidate will handle deployment, infrastructure, and operations on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.) to ensure high availability, security, logging, scalability. Moreover, they will participate in architectural decisions, trade-offs, and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Deep expertise in Node.js, Express, building and maintaining backend services in production.
  • Strong experience with MongoDB: schema design, indexing, querying, scaling, performance optimization.
  • Comfortable with front end using React (with Vite), understanding of how backend & frontend interact.
  • Strong experience in AWS: setting up environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring, security.
  • Experience with microservices, distributed systems, handling high traffic, fault tolerance.
