About the Role

We seek an experienced Backend API Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend APIs using Node JS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.

  • Proven hands-on experience as a software engineer with a focus on NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, ExpressJS.
  • Proficiency in Mocha, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes in Azure platform is beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

The successful candidate will collaborate with internal customers to understand their needs and translate them into working solutions. They will also adapt quickly to new tools and technologies, demonstrating empathy towards customers' challenges and drive to resolve them. Strong customer relationship skills, problem resolution, and improved efficiencies and productivity are essential for this role.

Experience with large-scale enterprise system development and integration, Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework is highly desirable.
